We’ve designed our memory care facilities at The Ridge for residents with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Above all, it’s our goal to empower each resident so they can live their lives with dignity and fulfillment. Our memory care programs are tailored to each senior living resident to include a mix of creative activities, events, and outings. The goals is to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
At the Ridge, safety and security is paramount, and for our memory care residents, this is especially important. We offer 24-hour emergency response and our specially trained employees are as intuitive as they are compassionate.
They want to get to know each person unique life story and needs. All residents are provided with a personalized care program based on their individual care needs. We use a point system to determine these needs along with the monthly fee for their apartment. Our caregivers review and monitor the residents’ needs and periodically reassess the services provided.

About Lantern Crest Senior Living
Since 2013 Lantern Crest has been providing the best in independent, assisted and memory care living in all of North San Diego County, South and East San Diego combined. We offer spacious, luxurious living spaces, 24-hour care, award-winning dining experiences, as well as a wide range of wellness, entertainment, and concierge services. We continue to grow and develop based on the needs and desires of our residents and seek to provide transparency into the actual costs and requirements for our senior living residents. We believe senior living should be focused on continual fulfillment and growth, and we believe there’s no cap to learning and enjoyment.
Our History
Our residential senior care and assisted living community opened in Lemon Grove in 2013. In 2014 we were proud to celebrate the grand opening of The Pointe, a picturesque, resort-style group of independent living facilities. In 2017, the popularity of Lantern Crest demanded that we open our Retirement Villas. Complete with in-home garages, the Retirement Villas are perfect senior housing options for residents on the go.
