Our History
Lantern Crest is a Premier Senior Living Community in East San Diego County dedicated to ensuring the Happiness, Hope, and Resort Lifestyle Fulfillment of each of our Residents. Situated on 34 acres with Panoramic views, our Multi-Level community offers Retirement, Independent, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
Since our inception in 2013 with The Ridge, our Premiere Assisted Living and Memory Care Neighborhoods, we have continued to grow by responding to the needs and desires of our current and prospective Residents. In 2014, we celebrated the Grand Opening of The Pointe, our stunning Resort-Style Independent Living Apartments and Grounds. Our newly-constructed Retirement Villas, richly designed to embody the light, airy comfort of home, will open in Summer 2017. The Retirement Villas are perfect for those Residents who want their Own Homes with Garages, free from all House-Trappings. This provides for the Best of All Life-Styles for our Active-Seniors.
The Seasoned Management Team at Lantern Crest are Seasoned Veterans in the Senior Living Industry, providing Superior Operations Oversight. We are also Privately Owned with Passionate Local Owners who pride themselves on creating the Warm, Loving Environment that all of our Residents delight in.
We conveniently Intersect with Four Major Freeways -- Routes 67, 125, 8, and 52 -- making us an Easily Accessible Trip from anywhere in San Diego County.
My Inspiration For Lantern Crest: My Parents, Daniel and Virginia
I consider myself very fortunate to have grown up in San Diego with loving parents who stressed family first. Several years ago, I was faced with the challenge of finding an Assisted Living Community for my father. My father was the most important man in my life and when my mother could no longer safely care for him, my search for his new home began. I quickly discovered the available choices had very little life or vibrancy. They were dark, old, and somewhat institutional. I felt terrible moving the most important man in my life to one of these choices, but I had no other options.
When the chance to develop Lantern Crest came along, I saw it as an opportunity to offer our parents and grandparents a better way to live. Lantern Crest is a way to give our parents and grandparents a great home and lifestyle. I decided that Lantern Crest should be an affordable luxury for our parents. A beautiful place to live, full of life and vibrancy with all the amenities, features, and services they could want or need.
It is my commitment to all of our parents and grandparents for Lantern Crest to offer a wonderful lifestyle full of love and gratitude. I would be very proud to have my father live at Lantern Crest.
